How to operate the night vision apparatus
1. The night vision device is a precision optoelectronic instrument used to observe the target at night and in low light. In order to meet the requirements of working in extremely low light, most night vision devices are equipped with infrared transmitters.
2. The night vision device is forbidden to be turned on during the day without a protective cover. When checking the working performance of the night vision device in a room with light, it must be carried out when the night vision device is equipped with a lens cover, and it should not exceed 3 seconds in a strong light environment. And the night vision device should not face a strong light source, and the strong light enters the night vision The interior of the night vision device may damage it or reduce the service life of the night vision device. And may hurt the user's eyes, when the strong light enters the night vision device, its brightness will decrease or even disappear. This is because the automatic protection function of the instrument has worked. At this time, the night vision device should be taken away from the strong light source immediately. The user should not start the device again, after 1-2 minutes, the night vision function will resume. Extremely strong light sources can cause damage to night vision goggles (e.g. ten seconds of daylight)
3. The night vision device allows strong flashes and flickers within 1 minute. The flare observed in the field of view is also called ghosting. It is not a defect of the night vision device, but caused by the external light source illuminating the lens. When the night vision device works in a completely dark environment, there will be no flares. When the night vision device is observed, there are a few black spots and bright spots, which are not quality defects, but meet the quality standards of the night vision device. The night vision device is forbidden to be turned on during the day without a protective cover.
4. After the night vision device is stored in a cold room or transported in winter, it must wait for dozens of minutes in a warm room before using it again. Otherwise, the lens will fog up and affect observation.
5. Night vision devices are generally suitable for use at an ambient temperature of -30°C to 30°C, a relative humidity of 93% at a temperature of 25°C, and a local illuminance of 5.10ˉlux or below. Level can reach -50 degrees to 70 degrees
6. Night vision goggles working hours.
Do not turn on the infrared irradiator:
---When the temperature is higher than 0 degrees---5-20 hours
---When the temperature is minus 30 degrees --- 2--3.5 hours
Turn on the infrared irradiator:
---When the temperature is higher than 0 degrees---2-5 hours
---When the temperature is minus 30 degrees---1-5 hours
Before the night vision device works and turns on below 10 degrees, the battery must be placed in a warm place.
7. Night vision devices should be kept in a clean place free from heavy pressure, mechanical damage, moisture, and solar radiation.
