Proper measurement of resistance, conduction, and frequency using a clamp-on ammeter

Proper Measurement of Resistance, Conductance, and Frequency Using a Clamp Ammeter

Method of measuring resistance
First, set the function switch to position.

Second, insert the red test lead into the V/Ω port and the black test lead into the COM port.

Third, make the test line contact short circuit and press the zeroing adjustment switch to eliminate the resistance of the test line.

Fourth, connect the test leads to the test loop. Humidity Sensor Probe , , Stainless Steel Heater PT100 Sensor , , Cast Aluminum Heater , Heating Circle Fluid Solenoid Valve

It is important to note here that do not measure in an energized circuit to avoid possible electric shock and damage to the instrument or circuit, open the battery cover after removing all test wires from the instrument. When measuring, hold behind the protective bar of the test leads.

Conductivity test of clamp-on ammeter

First, set the function switch to position.

Then, insert the red test lead into the V/Ω port and the black test lead into the COM port.

Then, short the test leads to contact and press the zeroing adjustment switch to eliminate the resistance of the test leads.

Next, press the mode selector switch to switch the normal mode to conductivity detection mode, displaying the " " symbol.

Finally, connect the test lead to the test circuit and the buzzer will sound if the test resistance is below 20.0Ω.

Frequency Measurement Method

First, set the function switch to the A or V position.

Then, press the mode selector switch 3 times to switch the normal mode to frequency measurement mode and display the "Hz" symbol.

Finally, follow the ACA or ACV measurement procedure.
