Why is the display of a carbon monoxide detector blurry?

(1) Display screen aging and circuit issues

As the usage time increases, the liquid crystal material of the display screen may gradually age, directly affecting its display effect and causing the image to become blurry. Meanwhile, if there are issues such as wear, looseness, or short circuits in the internal circuit connections of the display screen, it may also interfere with the normal transmission of signals, leading to display abnormalities.

(2) Environmental adaptability challenges

If the temperature and humidity conditions of the environment where the carbon monoxide detector is located exceed its designed working range, it will pose a serious challenge to the performance of the display screen. High temperature environment may cause changes in the physical properties of liquid crystal materials, while high humidity may accelerate the moisture absorption of internal components of the instrument, both of which may lead to blurry display on the screen.

(3) Unstable power supply

Unstable power supply or insufficient battery power, especially voltage output instability caused by battery aging, will directly affect the normal operation of the carbon monoxide detector display screen. In addition, the malfunction of the power module itself may also become a potential cause of blurry display on the screen.

(4) Risk of external damage

When the carbon monoxide detector is subjected to external forces such as collision and compression, the internal structure of the display screen is easily damaged, such as the rupture of the liquid crystal layer and the displacement of the polarizer. These damages will directly lead to a decrease in the display effect of the display screen, manifested as blurred images.
