Characteristics of electric soldering iron thermometer Principle of electric soldering iron thermometer

Electric soldering iron thermometer is a high-precision instrument which uses electric soldering iron to measure temperature without power supply. It is a large vertical instrument that pursues the visibility when operating on the table. The tip of the quiet soldering iron is attached with a special sensor that responds to the temperature quickly, so there is no need to choose the place of use because it does not need power.

0.2m CA can accurately and quickly measure the temperature, which is suitable for lead-free solder.

The nozzle temperature can be measured at any angle according to the nozzle shape.

Equipped with automatic shutdown function, when it is not used for 3 minutes, the power will be automatically turned off.

There is a function of [MAXHOLD] to record the highest temperature of the nozzle. When the [MAXHOLD] button is pressed, the display screen will display the highest temperature record of the nozzle.

Accurate and rapid determination of nozzle temperature with CA sensor.

Clear digital display.

Special alloy coating makes the sensor resistant to corrosion and oxidation.

The sensor is easy to replace.

Principle of electric soldering iron thermometer

An electric soldering iron thermometer is composed of a temperature sensing wire and an instrument. The temperature sensing line is a K thermocouple, which outputs a voltage signal, which is detected by the instrument and converted into a temperature value. So as to display the accurate temperature on the digital display screen.

If you have a digital multimeter to measure the temperature and the probe is a thermocouple, it will be very convenient. Because this thermocouple is also K-type, it is good to directly connect the output of the temperature sensing line to the temperature input of the multimeter! It shows the temperature directly.

If the digital multimeter in hand can't measure the temperature, you can only use its 200mV file to measure the voltage, and then look up the table and convert it into a temperature value.

White light 191 thermometer can be used as the temperature sensing line, and only one thermometer is needed. Temperature-sensitive wire is a consumable material, and it needs to be replaced after about 50 times to ensure the accuracy, so it is easy to buy.

The temperature sensing wire is the trademark of Mercedes-Benz. A temperature sensing block in the middle leads to three wires, and a circle is made at the end to connect the terminal. Actually, it is made of two wires, the red one is the positive wire, the blue one is the negative wire, and there is one side where these two wires are intertwined. It is not used as a signal wire, but mainly used as a support, because three sides can support it firmly.

The main job is to make a shelf for temperature sensing lines.

Buy three terminals. When the thread of the terminal is larger than the loop of the lead-out wire of the temperature-sensitive wire, the small loop of the lead-out wire should be removed, and then a large loop should be wound according to the thread size of the terminal.

Take a waste circuit board, drill three holes with an electric drill, which is exactly a triangle, and install the terminal on the circuit board. Then connect the three feet of the temperature sensing wire to the threads of each terminal and tighten the nut. Then connect the wire to the multimeter, and it will be fine. As shown in figure:

When measuring the temperature, welding head should first put some tin on it, and then put it on the temperature sensing block in the middle of the temperature sensing line. The tin-stained surface should be in horizontal contact with the temperature sensing block with a certain intensity. The temperature sensor can be tinned, so it can fully contact with welding head, and the measured temperature is more accurate. At this time, the temperature measuring file of the multimeter directly shows the temperature.

If the measured voltage is mV, use the following conversion table to convert the voltage into temperature, plus room temperature, which is the temperature in welding head. For example, 12.6mV is 310℃, and if the room temperature is 30℃, the temperature in welding head is 340℃.

In addition, it is possible to directly contact welding head with the thermocouple of the multimeter without the temperature sensing line, that is, the thermocouple of the multimeter is not tin-plated, so it cannot completely contact welding head, which will be slightly smaller than the temperature measured by the temperature sensing line, but generally only about 2-5℃ smaller.
