Feedback about our Smart digital multimeter GVDA GD128 Smart Multimeter 9999 Counts TRUE RMS Digital Smart Auto Range 1000V 10A Tester Meter Ohm Hz Capacitance REL True RMS AC DC DMM
I use Agilent 34401A, 6 1/2 lab countertop and three Fluke portable 85III, 75III and 112 multimeters for the DC voltage and resistance tests. The GD128 shows 0.04% tolerance on DC voltage measurements and 0.45% over resistance tests. It did not beat 34401A and 85III but it is better than 75III and 112. Very surprised of its price/performance ratio.
I also checked the frequency accuracy with HP 33120A which is good enough as handheld device and found out it has sensitivity at minimum of 680mV peak-2-peak. As many reviews already in place, I won't repeat again. I really like its size and easy to read screen but its origin probe is not useful at all. I replaced it immediately with the extra probes I purchased at the same time, which is based on soft silicon wires
I noticed the DC voltage reading is off at LSB in one digit higher when reversing the polarity, so don't reverse the probe!
Overall, it is very useful for general purpose usage. But, most importantly, I like its idea of auto function scanning, it works up to some points. The NCV detection, seems cool and works with wooden wall but not stone wall. I will continue checking this "toy" with feedback later.
