How to measure current with digital multimeter
1. Turn the function/range selection switch to uA, mA or A, the initial setting is DC current measurement, if you want to measure AC current, press the SELECT key to make it in the AC current measurement state.
2. Insert the red and black test leads into the uAmA and COM input terminals respectively.
3. Connect the test terminal of the test lead wire to the circuit under test in series, the polarity of the red test lead wire and the measured current value will be displayed on the display screen at the same time.
4. In manual mode, if the display shows "OL", it means that the measured current has exceeded the maximum measurement value of the current range, please select a higher range to complete the measurement.
5. Read the current measurement result from the display.
