I like how compact and easy this tool is to use. It came ready to go straight out of the box. Using the "Inductive" feature, I was able to determine my laptop Power Brick was bad and not sending power to my laptop. Placing the tip of the tool on the wire on the 110v side, I was able to hear the beep and flashing "U" alerting me there was power coursing through that wire. I then placed it on the 20v side plug (outside/inside), and I received no indication of power, telling me it was bad. This saved me time and potentially money.
I plan on keeping this with my toolkit to help me double-check the power connections I come across.
