This Digital Multimeter 4000 Counts GVDA GD107 Voltage Tester with LCD Display and Flashlight Phase Tester Measures Voltage Capacitance Resistance for Electricians I have for my husband. He likes to tinker with electronics and sometimes repairs household appliances and small electrical installations.
This multimeter seems to be well suited for that. He can use it to measure resistance, voltage and phases. However, it lacks the current measurement. This is a pity.
He likes to use the automatic mode, the device automatically recognizes the measurable values and then displays them accordingly. If, for example, a battery is too low, the device does not recognize the voltage in automatic mode and only shows the resistance. Then you just switch manually to the voltage measurement.
I find the supplied protective sleeves a bit unfortunate. You could have easily built them in such a way that they fit into our typical sockets. Unfortunately, the device with the sleeve does not seem to find the conductor because you cannot insert it deep enough. Without a protective sleeve, the contacts immediately slip out of the socket again and you have to hold them tight. It's not that bad, but it could have been solved better.
