About the application of infrared thermometers and thermal imaging cameras

1. Infrared thermometer
Infrared thermometer is also called point thermometer. This is a new type of thermometer that has developed rapidly in recent years and is used to measure the temperature of fixed points of objects. It has the advantages of small size, light weight, high sensitivity, fast response, and simple operation. It is very suitable for temperature detection of field equipment. Infrared radiation passes through a transmissive or reflective optical system, and is made into alternating radiation by a modulator. After passing through the infrared detector, it is processed by an electronic amplifier to improve the signal-to-noise ratio, and finally the temperature of the measured object is given by an indicator. Humidity sensor probe, , Stainless steel electric heating tube PT100 sensor, , Cast aluminum heater, Heating ring Fluid solenoid valve

2. Thermal imaging camera
This is a temperature measurement device that uses the thermal radiation characteristics of objects to express the plane and spatial temperature distribution of the measured object in images. Based on the infrared detector, it uses optical scanning methods to sequentially scan the entire subject space. After conversion, a visible image is obtained on the display, which can show the shape of the object and the temperature field distribution. It is very effective to use it to analyze the status of running equipment and find out its faults. However, it is currently expensive and its popularity is limited.

Infrared radiation passes through a scanning lens made of infrared optical materials, is focused, and then passes through a vertical scanning prism and a horizontal scanning prism. After continuous scanning, the entire object is instantly scanned. The infrared beam output from the horizontal prism passes through a set of relay optical systems including optional apertures and filters, and is finally focused on the infrared detector. The detector unit produces an electrical signal output proportional to the radiation from the target. This signal is amplified to produce a video signal, which is sent to the cathode tube display through the connecting cable to display a black and white or color image with adjustable brightness or a quantitative thermal image. .
