Analysis of common problems of microscope
Fault 1: The image quality of the microscope deteriorates after being used for a period of time, and the image quality will obviously improve after being turned off for a period of time.
Diagnosis: The lens coating technology is not up to standard, and the coating diverges after the lens is heated for a long time.
Fault 2: The image is clear when manually adjusting the focus, but the image is blurred after letting go.
Diagnosis: The focusing mechanism is aging.
Fault 3: The image is clear when observed by the eyepiece, but the collected image is not clear. When the collected image is adjusted to be clear, the observed image in the eyepiece is not clear again.
Diagnosis: The parfocality of the system is not enough, and the observation and acquisition cannot be synchronized.
Fault 4: The stage slides and shifts.
Diagnosis: The stage locking mechanism adopts star gears, and the stability is reduced for a long time.
Fault 5: The middle of the image is clear and the edges are blurred.
Diagnosis: Incomplete correction of spherical aberration.
Fault 6: Why is the middle of the field of view of the microscope clear but the edges blurred?
Diagnosis: It is a problem with the objective lens. Generally, the planarity of the achromatic objective lens is not good, and 60-80% of the center of the field of view is generally clear, but the surrounding area will be blurred. The solution is to replace it with a plan achromatic objective.
Fault 7: The background of the fluorescence microscope eyepiece and the photo are not dark enough, what should I do?
Diagnosis: When taking fluorescence pictures, you can shake out the transmitted light condenser, otherwise there will be a reflection image when looking at fluorescence. There is another method, if the fluorescence is strong enough, properly adjust the aperture diaphragm of the fluorescence, you can slightly remove the background. In addition, there is a black balance option in the software, which can make the background darker.
