Application of Carbon Dioxide Gas Detector for Analysis

1、 Planting greenhouse use

Carbon dioxide is one of the raw materials for photosynthesis of Viridiplantae, and 95% of the dry weight of crops comes from photosynthesis. Therefore, carbon dioxide has become an important factor affecting crop yield. Plastic greenhouse cultivation keeps crops in relatively closed places for a long time. The carbon dioxide concentration inside the greenhouse varies greatly, reaching a maximum of 1000-1200ppm before sunrise, and dropping to around 100ppm within 2.5-3 hours after sunrise, only about 30% of the atmospheric concentration (330ppm). It continues to rise until 2 hours in the afternoon and returns to atmospheric levels around 4pm. Vegetables generally require a carbon dioxide concentration of 1000-1500ppm. Therefore, the carbon dioxide deficit in plastic greenhouses is quite severe, becoming an important factor affecting the yield of vegetables in plastic greenhouses. The installation of carbon dioxide monitors in plastic greenhouses can ensure timely alarm in case of insufficient concentration of carbon dioxide monitors, so as to use gas fertilizer. Ensure that vegetables, edible mushrooms, flowers, traditional Chinese medicine, etc. are listed early and have high quality and yield.

2、 Large livestock farms:

Some large farms, such as cattle, pigs and chickens, are raised in closed or semi closed enclosures. Because of the large number and density of livestock and poultry raised, these animals will exhale a large amount of carbon dioxide. If there is no ventilation in the closed space for a long time, the high concentration of dioxide will lead to hypoxia of animals, resulting in low spirit, fatigue, loss of appetite, slow weight gain, high incidence rate and other symptoms. At the same time, lack of air circulation can easily lead to outbreaks and epidemics of diseases. For example, ventilation in pig houses can lead to a series of problems such as reduced power, decreased feed conversion rate, and respiratory infectious diseases. In recent years, the infection of Mycoplasma suis pneumonia (MPS), porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), swine atrophic rhinitis, porcine contagious pleuropneumonia (APP), porcine pseudorabies, swine influenza, porcine circovirus (PCV2) and other diseases has increased the incidence rate of porcine respiratory system and aggravated the harm. Difficult to control after onset; The incidence rate is generally 40-50%, and the mortality is 5-30%. However, if the ventilation is too fast and the wind speed is too high in winter, it will also take away the heat inside the pigsty, causing a decrease in room temperature, an increase in pig basal metabolism, and slower growth; In addition, if the ventilation in the pigsty is too fast, the sudden heat and cold inside the pigsty can also make the pigs feel uncomfortable. According to relevant professional data, the economic losses caused by ventilation in pig houses have been confirmed. Ventilation in pig houses has resulted in a 10% to 20% increase in feeding costs. Therefore, the detection of carbon dioxide concentration, temperature, and ventilation rate in breeding pens is very important. Installing a carbon dioxide and temperature monitor inside the breeding house and connecting it to a fan can monitor the above data at any time. When the carbon dioxide concentration exceeds the standard, the monitor will alarm and start the fan to automatically replace fresh air; Simultaneously monitor the temperature and ventilation rate of the enclosure at any time.

3、 Manufacturer of energy-saving and environmental protection products:

Taking manufacturers of energy-saving doors and windows as an example, many of them can ventilate without opening windows. In order to prove the energy-saving and ventilation properties of their products, manufacturers provide customers with a carbon dioxide and temperature monitor after installing energy-saving doors and windows, so that customers can measure indoor carbon dioxide concentration at any time. This machine can also monitor indoor temperature and ventilation rate at the same time, With these data that can be scientifically monitored at any time, these customers feel more confident when using energy-saving doors and windows

4、 Underground safety production:

Many toxic gases and carbon dioxide will be produced during downhole operations. The high concentration of carbon dioxide will lead to serious hypoxia in the well, which will lead to people being unable to breathe and work normally. Placing a carbon dioxide monitor in the working environment of the well can monitor whether the concentration of carbon dioxide is within the normal working range at any time, and can also monitor the temperature of the well, so as to avoid some accidents and do a good job in related protection.

5、 Kindergarten, office, school, supermarket:

For example, when there are dozens or hundreds of students in school classrooms, the carbon dioxide concentration will increase over time without opening the window, which can lead to dizziness or drowsiness among teachers and students, and reduce learning efficiency. If there is a carbon dioxide monitor in each classroom, adjust the machine to an appropriate alarm value. If the alarm is given, open the window and change the fresh air, which can not only ensure the air quality, but also allow students to have a quiet learning environment free from external interference.
