Applications of new digital multimeters in industries

As one of the indispensable products in the field of electronic testing, the digital multimeter has the widest range of applications. A digital multimeter is a measuring instrument that utilizes the principle of analog-to-digital conversion to convert measured data into digital quantities and display the measurement results in digital form. Compared with pointer multimeters, the new generation of digital multimeters has the advantages of high accuracy, fast speed, large input impedance, digital display, accurate reading, strong anti-interference ability, and high degree of measurement automation. Therefore, they are widely used and favored by engineers.

The recently launched DM3000 series digital multimeter adopts dual-mode display, with a maximum resolution of 6 1/2 digits and waveform capture function. Its use of multiple standard interfaces and Ethernet interfaces further expands the application scope and fields of digital multimeters.

Troubleshooting helps engineers solve problems
A data sampling rate of up to 50k/s is currently the highest indicator in the industry. By utilizing this feature, continuous processes that were previously difficult to capture with slow reading digital multimeters can be fully captured.

In the field of electronic production, sudden failures often occur in product production lines, and it is crucial for engineers to identify the cause of the failure and solve the problem in a timely manner. For example, DVD designers often encounter the problem of power burnout during product debugging, causing inconvenience to product production. By utilizing new A/D technology, the DM3000 can achieve a reading speed of 50000 readings per second and can continuously send readings directly to a PC at the same speed, with non-volatile storage reaching a storage depth of 1M bytes. The starting trigger conditions for its Data Log have multiple settings and are flexible. The use of true effective value transformation technology can significantly improve the accuracy of AC voltage measurement, while also having an AC bandwidth of 3Hz-300kHz.
