Brief operating procedures for microscopes Microscope principles and installation and debugging methods

1. Push the surgical microscope to the appropriate position for surgery, and tighten the three positioners of the frame to prevent the microscope from moving during the operation.

2. Loosen the hand wheel on the frame and turn the cross arm to align the microscope with the surgical site, then tighten the hand wheel.

3. Install the accessories (teaching mirror, camera) prepared for surgery into the designated position, then loosen the hand wheel, adjust the height of the microscope main body, adjust it in place and tighten the hand wheel.

4. Turn on the power, electric zoom and manual zoom: If you need electric zoom, first put the lever in the position indicating electric, then step on the foot switch to select the required magnification, and release the foot switch at the same time.

5. The focusing process should be based on the primary surgeon. If the assistant doctor or teaching observer cannot see a clear image, the eyepiece diopter can be adjusted until it is clear.

6. When using the x-y plane mover, it can be controlled by the cross switch on the foot control board, and it can move in two directions perpendicular to each other.

7. The teaching mirror can rotate around the spherical seat, and the observer can rotate to a suitable position for observation as needed. When rotating, lift the positioning angle upward so that the pin is stuck in the positioning groove of the spherical seat.

8. Brightness adjustment, the light source can be adjusted as needed. When adjusting, you can turn the rotating knob or adjust it to the appropriate brightness.

Precautions:
1. After turning on the power of the polarizing microscope, if it is not used temporarily, you can adjust the microscope light to the darkest level. Before turning off the power of the polarizing light microscope, turn the microscope light to the darkest level and wait until the light box has completely cooled down (about 15 minutes later). Coil the power cord so you don't need to turn the polarizing microscope power on and off frequently.

2. Perform adjustments under sterile conditions during surgery.

3. Keep the power cord and foot switch properly to avoid damaging the related components, and return them to their places promptly after use.

4. Pay attention to keeping the optical lens clean. Fingers must not touch the optical surface. If there is dust on the surface of the lens, use a clean brush or brush to remove it. If there is oil stain, you can use absorbent cotton dipped in a small amount of ethyl-ether-ethyl-alcohol mixture (ethyl-alcohol 30%, ethyl-ether 70%) to wipe it. When wiping, do not let the mixture penetrate into the lens to avoid degumming of the lens.

5. When the instrument is used, the optical fiber is not susceptible to excessive bending force. When it needs to be bent, the bending arc should not be too small to avoid breakage.

6. This instrument has two sets of light source lamp 1 and lamp 2, which can be switched at any time during use. The bulb switching dial must be switched in place, otherwise the illumination will be affected. Replacement of light bulbs must be done after 30 minutes of shutdown to avoid high temperatures.

7. When using and moving the instrument, hold the handle of the frame and push it slowly. Do not place the load-bearing arm, spring arm and machine head at the same time on the back side of the instrument panel to avoid danger from tipping.

8. The place where the instrument is used and kept should be kept clean and protected from dust, moisture, acid and alkali and other corrosion-prone substances. When the instrument is used or not used for a long time, it should be covered with a dust cover.

9. Record usage, performance, faults and solutions in a timely manner, and perform regular maintenance. The warranty period of this instrument is one year. If any malfunction occurs, please contact the manufacturer promptly for inspection and repair.
