Calculation method of microscope magnification

 

How to calculate the microscope magnification, please see the following:


Total optical magnification = eyepiece magnification x objective magnification (if there is an additional objective lens, the additional objective lens should also be counted)
Digital total magnification = objective lens x camera eyepiece magnification x digital magnification (if there is an additional objective lens, the additional objective lens should also be counted)


Take the stereomicroscope as an example: when the magnification of the eyepiece of the stereomicroscope is 10 times, the zoom range of the zoom body is 0.7X-4.5X, and the additional objective lens is 2X. Then its optical magnification is: 10 times 0.7 times 2, and the low magnification of this microscope is: 14 times, and the large magnification of zui is: 10 times 4.5 times 2 equals 90 times, so the total optical magnification of this stereoscopic microscope is 14 times to 90 times.


So what is the digital magnification calculation of the microscope? For example, the size of the monitor is 17 inches, and 1/3 of the microscope camera is used, so the digital magnification of the microscope camera is 72 times compared with the table below. The formula for calculating the digital magnification of the microscope is: based on the configuration of the stereoscopic microscope above, the zoom is 0.7X-4.5X, and the additional objective is 2X. The camera eyepiece is 1 (if the camera eyepiece has no multiple, it need not be added to the calculation). According to the formula: objective lens x camera eyepiece magnification x digital magnification, the small magnification of digital magnification zui is: 0.7 times 2 times 1 times 72 equals: 100.8 times, and the large magnification of digital magnification zui is: 4.5 times 2 times 1 times 72 equals: 648 times. Then the range of digital magnification is 100.8 times to 648 times.
