Characteristics and applications of thermal anemometer

1. There is a tiny wind speed sensor (glass ball) on the top of the measuring rod probe, and a nickel-chromium wire coil (heating coil) and a thermocouple are burned in the ball.

2. The sensor is directly exposed to the air flow. When a certain size of current passes through the heating coil, the glass ball is heated to a certain temperature. At this time, a corresponding thermoelectric potential appears at both ends of the thermocouple.

3. When the thermal wind speed measuring instrument is in still air (wind speed is zero), the thermoelectric potential is a fixed value; when measuring wind speed, the air flow causes the temperature of the working environment of the thermocouple to drop, and the thermoelectric potential at both ends of the thermocouple changes. Its value is a function of wind speed. Therefore, the corresponding wind speed value can be calculated by measuring the thermoelectric potential.

4. Thermal anemometer can be used for low airflow speed testing.

5. Small probe, clever grille and diffuser.

6. The combination of hot wire and standard electric thermistor facilitates fast and accurate measurement.

7. Small value recording, repeated reading and data retention functions.

8. The microprocessor circuit is guaranteed to use special functions and features.

9. Extra large backlight LCD display, which can read wind speed and temperature values at the same time.

10. Portable anemometer provides fast digital measurements.

11. Thermistor sensor used for temperature measurement responds quickly.

12. Application: Environmental testing, air conveyor belt, flow hood, clean room, air flow rate, air balance, fan/engine, furnace speed, refrigerator cold room, spray paint room.
