Characteristics and Selection of Industrial pH Meter
Laboratory PH meters are typically utilized when the tester transports the tester to the testing location and only requires moderate accuracy. The portable pH meter is more expensive and has a slightly larger appearance than pen-type pH meters, but its service life is greater than that of written tests and its electrodes can be changed. The desktop pH meter offers more features and more accurate measurement methods when compared to pen type (miniature) and portable pH meters. However, they are more expensive and most of them only work with AC power supplies, making it difficult to transport them to the field for measurement.
Users can choose a pH meter that suits them according to their actual situation and budget.
Industrial pH meters are characterized by good stability, reliable operation, certain measurement accuracy, strong environmental adaptability, and strong anti-interference ability. They have analog meter output, digital communication, upper and lower limit alarm and control functions, etc. And according to different use occasions and functional requirements, the selection is a little complicated. Especially in the selection of the pH electrode, various factors such as the temperature, pressure, composition of the measured solution, and installation method of the measured solution must be considered. This requires certain professional knowledge and experience. It is recommended that customers provide their own requirements and operating conditions to have the manufacturer's technical personnel do the final selection of the pH meter.
