Characteristics of High Frequency Switching Power Supply Module

The high-frequency switching power supply module is composed of a large number of resistors, capacitors, power electronic devices, etc. in a certain circuit way. During the power conversion process, a certain amount of power loss is always generated, and the power loss is usually dissipated in the form of thermal energy, causing the temperature of the power supply module to rise. Excessive temperature rise has a significant impact on the lifespan of the module. The higher the operating temperature of the module, the lower its performance and reliability, and the shorter its service life. Therefore, in addition to adopting high reliability circuit methods, it is also necessary to choose appropriate heat dissipation methods to effectively reduce the temperature rise of high-frequency switching power supply modules and ensure their service life. At present, high-frequency switching power supply modules used in power DC systems mainly adopt two cooling methods: forced air cooling and natural cooling.

The characteristics of high-frequency switching power supply modules
1. High efficiency: Fully realize zero voltage and zero current switching within the full load range, ensuring that the switching transistor has no turning off peaks, the current is pure sine wave, and the switching loss is minimal; The output rectifier tube has extremely low voltage stress and no reverse current.

2. Small size: The converter efficiency is very high, and compared with traditional pWM switching power supply topology schemes, the heat sink volume can be reduced by half.

3. High reliability: By adopting domestically leading process optimization design, comprehensive protection alarm measures, and selecting high-quality and highly reliable imported components, the perfect combination of low electromagnetic interference has been achieved.

4. Long lifespan: Due to low temperature, it can significantly delay the aging rate of components, thereby improving the product life cycle;

The principle of high-frequency switching power supply module
The high-frequency switch module adopts passive pFC technology and advanced pulse width modulation control technology (pWM), which further improves the efficiency of the module and reduces harmonics. The module adopts an AC three-phase three wire 380VAC balanced input method, without any neutral current loss. The module AC input is rectified into a pulsating DC voltage through a peak suppression circuit and EMI absorption circuit, and then converted into a high-frequency square wave voltage by a high-frequency pulse width modulation converter through a full bridge rectification and filtering circuit. The stable output voltage and current are obtained through the output rectification and filtering circuit. When the grid voltage and load change, the feedback adjustment circuit controls the pulse width modulation circuit to adjust the width of the pulse width, ensuring that the output voltage and current remain stable.
