One, measure the current
1. Select A~ (AC) or A- (DC) as required.
2. Press the trigger to clamp the clamp head of the clamp meter into the current wire to be measured, and keep it in the middle of the clamp head.
3. When the measured current is very small and the reading is not obvious, you can wind the tested wire a few turns, the number of turns should be based on the number of turns in the center of the jaw, then the reading = measured value / number of turns.
4. When measuring, the conductor under test should be in the center of the jaws, and the jaws should be closed tightly to reduce errors.
Second, matters needing attention
(1) The voltage of the circuit under test should be lower than the rated voltage of the clamp meter.
(2) When measuring the current of the high-voltage line, wear insulating gloves, wear insulating shoes, and stand on the insulating pad.
( 3 ) The jaws must be closed tightly and the range cannot be changed with electricity.
(4) The maximum current measurement cannot exceed 600A.
(5) For the manual range clamp meter, if the current range to be measured is unknown, it should be placed in the maximum range and gradually decreased.
