Clamp ammeter principle and structure:
Clamp ammeter using split iron core and Hall element (hole element) combination, when the measured current I through the sensor, Hall element induction output a Hall voltage VH, can be detected through the Hall voltage VH, to calculate the tested current I, Hall voltage VH proportional to the tested current I, and through the iron core heart of the wire becomes the primary coil of the current transformer, and line The current is then induced in the secondary coil. Clamp-on ammeter use method skills:
(1) Before testing the line, check the clamp meter core insulation shell is intact. Clamp mouth closure is firm.
(2) open the meter, display "OL" indicates that the meter itself can test normal
(3) Try to measure the measured wire through the centre of the jaws, you can test several times and read the value, so that the reading is accurate.
(4) Measurement of smaller currents, under the conditions, you can wrap the wire around a few more times, and then clamped with the jaws. This test value is a multiple of the number of turns of the wire, and the value is more accurate.
(5) After the test is completed, turn off the meter and clean the jaws so that the meter is intact for the next use.
