Clamp meters are divided into mechanical pointer clamp meters and digital clamp meters. Its advantage is that it can measure the magnitude of the current in the line without disconnecting the line to be measured. No matter what form of clamp meter is, it generally only measures the alternating current of the worker, and there are also some clamp ammeters specially used to measure the direct current.
