Classification and performance indicators of laser rangefinders
Laser rangefinders can emit multiple laser pulses to determine whether an object is moving away from or approaching a light source through the Doppler effect. Due to the speed of light, this instrument is not accurate at close distances. Triangulation is more suitable when high-precision distance measurement of sub-millimeter level is required.
Classification of laser rangefinders
1. Handheld laser rangefinder: the measurement distance is generally within 200 meters, and the accuracy is about 2mm. This is the most widely used laser rangefinder at present. Functionally, in addition to measuring the distance, it can also generally calculate the volume of the measured object.
2. Cloud service laser rangefinder: transmit the measurement data on the laser rangefinder to mobile terminals such as mobile phones and tablet computers in real time through Bluetooth; through wifi networking, the data can be transmitted to the cloud server, and the remote construction partners can share the measurement in real time data.
3. Telescope-type laser rangefinder: the measurement distance is relatively long, the general measurement range is about 3.5 meters to 2000 meters, and there are also rangefinder telescopes with a maximum range of about 10 kilometers. It is a blind spot, and laser telescopes larger than 2000 meters generally use
YAG laser has a wavelength of 1.064 microns. In order to achieve a large measurement range, the laser power is relatively high. It is recommended that users pay attention to laser protection.

3. Where to use
Basically divided into the following situations:
a) It only needs to measure the distance within a few meters or a dozen meters,
And when the accuracy requirement is not high. Suggestion - "ultrasonic range finder" can be selected.
Remarks——The measurement effect of the ultrasonic rangefinder is greatly affected by the environment, and its stability and directionality are worse than that of the laser rangefinder, but the price is relatively cheap, and it is suitable for indoor measurement.
b) The measurement distance is not long, and it is mostly used indoors with high precision requirements.
Suggestion - Optional "Handheld Laser Rangefinder".
Remarks——The handheld laser rangefinder is more suitable for indoor use, and the measurement accuracy and effect are very good.
(If the user needs to detect in an outdoor environment, it is recommended to use a professional laser sight and a reflector to achieve the expected range and effect.)
c) The measurement distance is relatively long, and it is mostly used for outdoor use.
