Classification and usage of human infrared thermometers

The commonly used human infrared thermometers can be divided into two categories: infrared thermal imaging body temperature rapid screening devices and infrared thermometers.

The infrared thermal imaging body temperature rapid screening device can monitor a large area in crowded public places, automatically track and alarm high-temperature areas, and cooperate with visible light video to quickly identify and track individuals with high body temperature. When the infrared thermal imaging body temperature rapid screening device integrates technologies such as facial recognition and mobile phone probes, it can also grasp more information about individuals with higher body temperatures.

Infrared thermometer can also be divided into infrared ear thermometer and infrared forehead thermometer. Infrared thermometer equipment is simple, convenient to use, affordable, and can achieve sequential and rapid temperature measurement of personnel.

Method of use for human infrared thermometer

The infrared thermometer of the human body can only operate normally at a certain ambient temperature. Usually, when measuring body temperature in an ambient temperature below 16 ℃, there may be significant deviation or even inability to display the data, which is a normal phenomenon from the measurement principle. He suggests measuring in a location without strong convection, strong radiation, non high humidity, relatively constant temperature, and in compliance with the declared environmental temperature of the thermometer.

Taking an infrared thermometer as an example, the surface temperature of the measured person needs to reach a thermal equilibrium state with the measurement environment before measurement can begin. When measuring body temperature, the infrared thermometer should be aligned with the center of the forehead (above the eyebrow center and kept vertical), and the measuring area should not be obstructed by hair, sweat, hats, etc. It is best to determine the measurement distance of (1-3) CM. Repeat the measurement twice within 1 minute, with each measurement lasting for (3-5) seconds. If the difference between the two measurements is within 0.3 ℃, the data is reliable. Otherwise, it needs to be checked and measured again.
