Common fault analysis of gas detector

The gas detector has the function of accurately measuring the concentration of volatile gases in the environment, which is more important for judging the gas concentration of an environment. However, because the instrument will be affected by environmental factors during use, it may cause some failures. In order to avoid failures that affect the normal use of the instrument, what are the reasons for the failure of the instrument?

Common faults of the detector

1. Calibration failure:
The harsh environment and mechanical vibration of the gas detector will cause damage to the instrument. If the gas concentration exceeds the detectable range of the instrument, the sensor will also be damaged. Problems with the sensors can lead to inaccurate measurements.

2. Rapid detection failure:
When the sensor is damaged, no matter what changes in the gas concentration at this time, the measured data will not change. In order to ensure that the instrument can operate normally, a quick test should be performed on the current test environment.

3. The risk of moving:
If the instrument is used in a temporary area monitoring or on-site warning area, certain risks brought by the current environment can be avoided.

4. The instrument cannot be used in harsh environments:
When the gas detector is used in a harsh environment and the temperature difference changes greatly, and it is exposed to sea water and hot and humid environment for a long time, its detection performance and service life will be affected to a certain extent.

5. Ignoring data:
Gas detectors, including alarms and defects, need data analysis to ensure the health and safety of workers under gas concentrations.
