Common faults and troubleshooting measures of clamp ammeter
1. When measuring the ammeter or voltage, there is no indication for one or several gears, and the other gears indicate normal.
Reason: The bolt of the fastening switch is loose or the connection on the branch switch is twisted and broken.
Usually, after tightening the bolt and opening the cover, the broken wire is connected, and the clamp meter can resume normal operation.
2. The reading of the current file is too small, and the reading of the voltage file is normal.
Reason: The jaws are in poor contact and there is too much magnetic flux leakage. The jaws should be corrected to make them in good contact. This kind of fault is sometimes caused by the short circuit of the coil, and the coil should be re-wound according to the original data and insulated.
3. The readings of the current and voltage gears are on the low side. This phenomenon mostly occurs on the internal magnetic clamp meter.

Reason: The magnet is demagnetized, it should be magnetized, and the resistance value connected in series with the meter branch can also be reduced for adjustment.
4. If the reading of a certain gear is not accurate, the corresponding resistance should be adjusted.
5. The voltage gear indication is normal, and the current gear has no indication. A multimeter should be used to check the switch and secondary coil for abnormalities.
