1) When disassembling the metallographic microscope's component parts, suitable tools should be chosen based on the shape of the parts being dismantled, and the tools themselves should be of good hardness and toughness. In the absence of appropriate tools, the tools should be set up before dismantling in accordance with the size and shape of the pieces that need to be removed.
2) You can drop kerosene on the rust to soak it, and then remove it after some time if there is rust at the joint of the parts, which makes it difficult to disassemble.
3) To avoid damage or trouble in disassembly, be aware of any concealed screws, positioning pins, etc. when disassembling parts.
4) The optical and precision parts should be positioned correctly after being taken out. Dust should be placed on delicate instruments like reticle and microscales to prevent collision. It is important to keep hands away from the surface film on the reflector, beam splitter, and lens.
5) The pressure used to fix optical components should be appropriate to avoid deformation. The pressure point must be on the support point, which must be a clean, flat surface. It is not recommended to overtighten the thread pressure ring and pressure plate of the optical parts. It is preferable to simply fix the optical components rather than loosening them.
6) After cleaning with gasoline and drying, the pertinent metal mechanical parts that touch the optical components should be assembled.
7) When disassembling the lens components, marks should be made on the edge of the lens to prevent the front and rear sides and incorrect order.
