How to detect leakage of digital multimeter
Measuring the voltage of the electrical equipment shell to ground
When leakage occurs in the electrical equipment, the voltage of the metal casing of the equipment to the ground can be measured.
The method of detecting leakage:
Turn on the power of the device, switch the multimeter to the AC voltage measurement position, connect the red test lead to the device shell, and the black test lead to ground. If there is a voltage indication, it means that the device has leakage.
