DC stabilized power supply operation method
1. After connecting the AC power source and turning the power switch to the "ON" position, the power panel's voltage and ammeter will illuminate;
2. 0–15V adjustment: To get the output voltage to a value that is almost equal to the required voltage, turn the voltage coarse adjustment knob first. Then, turn the voltage fine adjustment knob to get the output voltage to the exact value that is needed;
3. Continuous current adjustment: Short-circuit the voltage output's positive and negative terminals, then turn the coarse current adjustment knob to bring the current down to the necessary close value and turn the fine current adjustment knob to bring the current up to the necessary precise value;
4. The power supply will automatically limit the current to the predetermined constant current value if the load fails or is shorted out. At this point, in order to maintain a constant output current, the output voltage will automatically decrease until it is 0V. The output voltage instantly returns to normal after the overload or short circuit is removed.
Safety Measures
1. Verify that the connected power supply matches the DC stabilized power supply's input voltage before turning it on;
2. To allow for heat dissipation, there should be adequate room surrounding the machine when using a DC controlled power supply;
3. The power supply will cut off if the 2A fuse at the power input end burns out. Before replacing it with a fuse of the same value, maintenance staff must identify the fault's source and fix it;
4. Make sure to check the output voltage of the DC controlled power supply before using it. For mobile phone repair, the output voltage must be higher than 4.2V, else the chip within the phone would burn out;
5. The black output terminal denotes the negative pole and the red output terminal, among the regulated power supply's output terminals, the positive pole. Never connect the two.
