DC voltage stabilized power supply application process
Step 1: Power connection. Connect the regulated power supply to the mains.
Step 2: Turn on the power supply. In the case of not connected to the load, press the power supply switch (power), and then open the power supply DC output switch (output), so that the power supply normal output operation (some simple adjustable regulated power supply only the total power switch, there is no independent DC output switch). At this moment, the power supply digital indicator head that shows the current operating voltage and output current.
Step 3: Set the output voltage. After adjusting the voltage setting knob, so that the digital voltage shows the policy voltage, complete the voltage setting. Regarding the power supply with adjustable current limiting function, there are two sets of regulating system to regulate the voltage and current respectively. When regulating to be clear, generally regulate the voltage potentiometer has a "VOLTAGE" word, regulate the current potentiometer has a "CURRENT" word. Many entry-level products using low-cost coarse / fine adjustment of the dual knob setting, encounter dual adjustment knob, we first fine adjustment knob to the center, and then through the coarse adjustment knob to set the approximate voltage, and then use the fine adjustment knob to accurately correct.
Step 4: Set the current. Press the "Limit" button on the power panel and do not let go, at this moment the ammeter will show the current value, adjust the current knob, so that the current value to reach the predetermined level. General current limit can be set at 120% of the highest current in common use. Some power supply does not limit the current of the special adjustment key, the user needs to short circuit the output terminal in accordance with the requirements of the manual, and then based on the short-circuit current to cooperate with the current limit knob to set the current limit level. Simple adjustable voltage regulator power supply has no current setting function, there is no corresponding knob.
Step 5: set over-voltage maintenance OVP, over-voltage setting refers to the adjustable voltage range of the power supply itself to further limit an upper limit voltage, to avoid misuse of the power supply output too high voltage. Generally, the overvoltage can be set to 120% of the usual maximum operating voltage level. The overvoltage setting needs to use a screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer recessed in the panel, which is also a design to avoid misoperation. When setting OVP voltage, first adjust the power supply operating voltage to the policy over-voltage point, and then gradually adjust the OVP potentiometer, so that the power supply maintenance is just right action, at this moment the OVP is set to complete. Then, close the power supply, lower the operating voltage, you can operate normally. Refer to step 3 above for setting the operating voltage. Different power supply settings, OVP method is different.
Step 6: Setting of communication interface parameters and remote control operation. The remote control operation should be closed for local control (panel operation). The communication interface should be set according to the communication requirements, but the local application does not need to be set.
