Debugging of a trace moisture analyzer
Micro moisture analyzer, also known as Karl Fischer moisture analyzer, includes moisture analyzer, moisture meter, moisture detector, moisture measuring instrument, and moisture analyzer. It is mainly used for the detection of samples with low water content, and has been improved in recent years, greatly improving accuracy and expanding the measurement range. The WS-3 automatic moisture analyzer is suitable for the determination of trace moisture in insulation oil of petroleum and chemical products, insect oil electrical equipment.
Processing electrolytic cell
Gently shake the electrolytic cell of the trace moisture analyzer a few times to fully absorb the water on the inner wall of the cell bottle by the electrolyte. Then, place the electrolytic cell in the holder, turn on the stirring switch, adjust the stirring speed, and form a small vortex on the liquid surface; Insert the measuring electrode plug and electrolytic electrode plug into the corresponding socket of the host and ensure good contact. Turn on the electrolytic switch. Explanation: In the state of excessive iodine, the green lights of the measurement signal indicator light and the electrolysis signal indicator light are all turned off, only one red light is lit separately, and the digital display does not count.
Adjusting the balance of the electrolyte
If the electrolytic cell is still in a deep iodine excess state, use a 50ul micro sampler to extract 10ul of distilled water each time, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button, and inject multiple times below the liquid level of the electrolytic cell through the hole in the middle of the injection cock. Observe the color change of the electrolytic solution at any time until the electrolyte turns light yellow, and the green light of the measurement signal light and electrolytic signal light indicates that the counter starts counting. (When using fresh electrolyte and the bottle is dry, approximately 30-50ul of water needs to be injected.) Wait for the counting to stop, then stop stirring. Pick up the electrolytic cell and gently shake it a few times to absorb the water on the inner wall of the bottle again. After the endpoint alarm, calibration can be carried out. (The newly replaced electrolyte may not be very stable at times. At this point, approximately 2-3 ul of distilled water can be injected to make it count from 2000 to 3000 ug, which is more convenient for faster stability.)
Calibration of trace moisture analyzer
After the electrolyte stabilizes, use a 0.5ul micro injector to extract 0.3ul of distilled water, wipe the needle with filter paper, press the start button once, and inject it below the liquid level. The instrument starts counting and reaches the endpoint, displaying 300 ± 30ug of water. Calibrate continuously 2-3 times, and the counting values are within the required range, indicating that the instrument is accurate. (Note: The error of the rapid moisture analyzer itself is not greater than ± 0.3%, but considering that the micro injector has a capacity error of ± 5% and human operation error, the calibration with distilled water (100%) is allowed to have an error within ± 10%.)
