Describe the correct use of probe core thermometers

 

The probe core thermometer has a small design and is easy to carry. It is suitable for measuring the core temperature of products and can also replace the traditional glass thermometer. The front end of the probe of the core thermometer is very sharp, it can be directly pierced into some foods to measure the core temperature, and the response is fast. Probe core thermometer detection significance:

The most suitable temperature for bacterial growth is in the range of 10-60°C. Therefore, the storage temperature of food should be controlled below 10°C. Food processing should be cooked thoroughly, and the central temperature should be above 70°C and kept for a certain period of time to kill bacteria. Food that is more than 2 hours after cooking and before consumption should be stored at a temperature higher than 60°C or lower than 10°C. Cooked products that need to be refrigerated should be refrigerated between 0 and 10°C after cooling.

Probe core thermometer correct method is as follows:

1. First observe the range, division value and 0 point, and the temperature of the measured liquid should not exceed the range.


2. The glass bulb of the thermometer is completely immersed in the liquid on the side, and do not touch the bottom or wall of the container.


3. After the glass bubble of the thermometer is immersed in the liquid to be tested, wait for a while, and wait for the thermometer to stabilize before reading.

4. When reading, the glass bubble of the thermometer should remain in the liquid, and the line of sight should be level with the upper surface of the liquid column in the thermometer.
