Electric soldering iron welding technology: usage method of pointed electric soldering iron
1. Choosing appropriate soldering wire should use low melting spot welding wire for welding electronic components.
2. Flux, dissolve 25% rosin in 75% alcohol by weight as the flux.
3. The electric soldering iron shall be coated with tin before use. The specific method is to heat the electric soldering iron, apply the flux when the soldering tin can be melted just now, and then apply the solder evenly on the soldering iron head to make the soldering iron head eat a layer of tin evenly.
4. Welding method: Polish the pads and pins of the components with fine sandpaper and apply soldering flux. Dip an appropriate amount of solder with a soldering iron tip, touch the solder joint, and wait for all the solder on the solder joint to melt and immerse the component lead head. Gently lift the soldering iron tip up and away from the solder joint along the component pin.
5. The welding time should not be too long, otherwise it is easy to burn the components. If necessary, tweezers can be used to clamp the pins to help dissipate heat.
6. The solder joint should have a sinusoidal peak shape, and the surface should be bright and smooth, with Wuxi burrs and moderate tin content.
7. After welding, the residual soldering flux on the circuit board should be cleaned with alcohol to prevent the carbonized flux from affecting the normal operation of the circuit.
8. The integrated circuit should be soldered last, and the soldering iron should be reliably grounded or welded using residual heat after power outage. Alternatively, use a dedicated socket for integrated circuits and solder the socket before plugging the integrated circuit in.
9. The electric soldering iron should be placed on the soldering iron holder.
Usage of pointed electric soldering iron
1. Safe use of electric soldering irons
Measure whether there is an open circuit or short circuit at both ends of the plug using the ohm range of a multimeter, and then use the Rx1000 or Rx10000 range to measure the resistance between the plug and the housing. If the pointer does not move or the resistance is greater than 2-3M Ω, it can be safely used without leakage.
2. The initial use of new electric soldering irons
The new electric soldering iron cannot be used immediately. It needs to be coated with a layer of soldering tin on the soldering iron head first. The method is to use a file to clean the soldering iron head, press on the power, and when the temperature gradually increases, apply rosin to the soldering iron head; When the rosin is smoking and the soldering iron head is able to melt the soldering tin, put the soldering iron head on the sandpaper with a small amount of rosin and soldering tin to grind all sides, so that the soldering iron head can be coated with a layer of soldering tin.
3. After the electric soldering iron is turned on, it is not hot or too hot
1) Check if the power supply voltage is lower than AC210V (normal voltage should be AC220V). If the voltage is too low, it may cause insufficient heat and difficulty in soldering.
2) The hair of the electric soldering iron is oxidized or the root of the soldering iron head is oxidized at the fastening part of the inner wall of the outer tube.
4. Reason for zero line electrification
In a three-phase four wire power supply system, the zero line is grounded and equipotential with the ground. If a neon bubble emits light when tested with a stylus, it indicates that the zero line is charged (there is a potential difference between the zero line and the ground).
An open circuit in the zero line, an increase in the grounding resistance of the zero line, an open circuit in the grounding down lead, and a grounded phase line can all cause the zero line to become charged.
