Explanation of the difference between digital microscope and ordinary microscope

Digital microscope, also known as digital microscope, photographic microscope, video microscope or CCD microscope, and many other different names. A digital microscope is a type of microscope that combines traditional optical microscopes and video lenses, which adds a microscopic imaging device to a regular optical microscope. It can be a digital camera or a microscope camera. It is the process of converting the physical images seen under a microscope into digital to analog images, which are then projected onto a computer. Digital microscope is a high-tech product developed by combining advanced optical microscope technology, advanced photoelectric conversion technology, and ordinary television sets. Thus, we can shift the focus of research in the microscopic field from traditional binocular observation to reproduction through displays, thereby improving work efficiency. Mainly used for teaching purposes.

The main advantage of digital microscopes is that traditional optical microscopes can only be used by one person, making it difficult to share microscope images. To capture images inside the microscope, special instruments are often required for assistance. However, digital microscopes can be connected to computers, allowing the images inside the microscope to be played through projectors connected to the classroom. This allows students in the classroom to view the images together, which is also helpful for managing classroom order.

Digital microscopes can reduce eye fatigue, capture and preserve observed images. And it can also meet the needs of multiple people previewing simultaneously at low cost. It can also achieve multiple functions such as measurement, printing, and photography.

There are six major differences between digital microscopes and regular microscopes:
1. It has a microscopic camera function to save the observed microscopic effects and form graphic and textual files, which can be circulated among relevant departments; A regular microscope can only observe through the eyepiece and cannot perform microscopic imaging.

2. Connected to a computer, multiple people can observe simultaneously; A regular microscope can only be observed by one person.

3. Previewing on a computer screen can reduce eye fatigue; Ordinary microscopes require constant observation through the eyepiece, which can easily cause excessive eye fatigue.

4. The imaging device of a digital microscope can have functions such as measuring, printing graphic and textual reports, recording videos, etc; Ordinary microscopes can only perform simple microscopic observations.

5. Digital microscopes are a new era in the development of modern scientific instruments and have many functions that ordinary microscopes do not have. It has made rapid progress in scientific research, product testing, teaching demonstrations, archaeology, and other fields.
