Oxygen detectors can be divided into two types based on sampling methods: diffusion detection and suction detection. These two detection methods each have their own advantages. The diffusion detection method operates freely, has minimal impact on the sensor during detection, and has a long service life. The extraction detection method requires mastery of the dense direction of the gas source during operation. Cannot detect in the opposite direction, which will affect the detection effect. The detection sensitivity is high, but the service life is short.


However, the instruments used in both detection methods are prone to a common phenomenon of unstable detection data. So what is the reason for this phenomenon?
When users receive a brand new oxygen detector, they are both curious and happy, eagerly opening and using it. However, when users find that the test data fluctuates too much and is not ideal after booting up, they will be very angry and directly judge that the instrument is defective or of poor quality. Here, I suggest that everyone should not rush when encountering this phenomenon. You can read the manual first. If the instructions in the manual do not solve the problem, the new oxygen detector may experience varying degrees of zero drift due to different aging times. This is an inevitable phenomenon for all gas security manufacturers. We recommend that users and friends perform a "zero" operation on the instrument after receiving it, regardless of how much data is displayed on the instrument. This principle is similar to weighing. If the pointer on the electronic scale does not point to the "0 scale", the weight measured is definitely not the actual weight, whether it is heavy or light.


After the "zero" operation, the user friend needs to master the direction of the oxygen source. If you don't know, you first need to understand the proportion of oxygen in the air.
