1. In terms of aiming method, the instrument adopts laser aiming method, the light spot is small, and it is very easy to aim at thin cables;
2. Due to the small reflection area of the cable, ultrasonic altimeters or other types of laser rangefinders cannot measure higher cables. The laser altimeter uses a linear laser to increase the reflective surface to more than 80% during measurement, making it easier to measure higher cables, and the maximum measurement height exceeds 100 meters;
3. Laser measurement is generally not affected by the environment, and measurement work can still be carried out in rainy days;
4. For environments with complex terrain, the laser altimeter can directly measure the height of the cable from a distance, which solves the problem that other altimeters must measure below the line.
