2. Pointed soldering iron
Welding stations are generally temperature-adjustable, and some are equipped with heat guns. The original one has a sharp tip, but due to structural compatibility, it can be replaced with a blade tip.
When using a pointed soldering iron, for general electronic component soldering, the temperature can be adjusted to about 350. When the PCBA is designed with fan heating, the temperature can be appropriately raised to ensure that the temperature can melt the tin on the PCBA.
Because the blade edge of the soldering iron tip can effectively fit the pins of the SOP/TSSOP/LQFP package, it will be easier to handle when removing tin.

1. Selection of soldering iron
The power of the soldering iron is determined by the size of the solder joint. The solder joint has a large area and the heat dissipation speed of the solder joint is also fast. The electric soldering iron selected should have a higher power.
Generally, the power of electric soldering irons is 20W, 25W, 30W, 35W, 50W, etc. Generally, the power of about 30W is selected.
Soldering iron:
The newly purchased soldering iron must be tinned first before it can be used.
After using the soldering iron for a long time, a layer of oxide will be formed on the head of the soldering iron, which will make it difficult to eat tin. You can use a file to remove the oxide layer. After the soldering iron is powered on, when the head of the soldering iron is slightly hot, insert rosin and apply solder. You can continue to use it.
2. Solder and flux
When selecting solder and flux, generally use solder wire with a low melting point and non-corrosive flux, such as rosin. Do not use industrial solder and corrosive acidic soldering oil. Generally, use solder wire containing rosin.
