Five major functions of toxic gas detectors

In the production process, the toxic and harmful gases emitted into the air of the workplace not only directly affect the safety and health of workers, but also pollute the surrounding environment, especially in the production process with outdated equipment and outdated technology. The problem of toxic gas hazards is particularly prominent. Acute poisoning accidents occur during the production process of enterprises, and the concentration of toxic gases in many workplaces greatly exceeds the national standard, seriously threatening the physical health of workers.

The toxic gas detector is suitable for various places such as chemical, pharmaceutical, municipal, water treatment, telecommunications, archaeology, laboratory, cold storage, brewing, etc. Its functions are mainly reflected in five aspects: gas leakage, environmental safety, equipment maintenance, safety maintenance, and emergency detection, including:

1. Equipment maintenance: Regular equipment maintenance should be carried out to promptly detect any gas leaks, especially in the case of possible sparks, which must be detected in advance.

2. Gas leakage: Detection and alarm of toxic and harmful gases or vapors in chemical production workshops, as well as operation leak detection of equipment pipelines.

3. Environmental safety: When workers need to work in hazardous areas with toxic gases, it is necessary to detect the composition and concentration of harmful gases in the environment to ensure environmental safety.

4. Safety maintenance: Regularly detect the gas composition and concentration in the work environment, and do a good job in safety maintenance.

5. Emergency testing: In the event of a malfunction at the production site, harmful gases or liquids (vapors) should be tested for safety and hygiene.

In the use of toxic gas detectors, we should ensure their performance, which requires us to pay attention to the following two points in daily use:
1. Attention should be paid to preventing electromagnetic interference during use, as errors may also occur due to electromagnetic interference.

2. Do not place or hang any objects on the detector. The installed gas detector should not be moved to any other position. When selecting, try to use replaceable sensor probes for ease of use.
