Five points to pay attention to when operating the coating thickness gauge
1. Do not use inferior batteries, hardness testers to avoid liquid leakage, and portable roughness testers to cause corrosion of the host board. Once leakage is found, please send it for repair immediately. If it is too late, the host will be scrapped directly. Please remove the battery if not in use for a long time.
2. When plugging and unplugging the probe, the power of the host must be turned off before plugging and unplugging. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the integrated block inside the probe to burn.
3. When measuring, the probe should be placed stably. The strength should not be too large to prevent point measurement at a very fast speed;
4. It is very important that the measurement cannot be performed when the coating is wet. Many customers often measure when the coating is wet. The probe sticks to the paint, then washes it off with banana water or xylene, and then uses it. If you do this, the serious probe will be scrapped directly, even if it is not scrapped, the sensitivity of the probe will be reduced and the service life of the probe will also be reduced.
5. When choosing a coating thickness gauge, try to choose a split instrument. Since the probe is a consumable part and has a certain service life, it is also a consumable. The probe of the all-in-one machine cannot be repaired, and the price of replacing the probe of the flue gas analyzer is very high, which is close to the price of a new machine. The split machine only needs to replace the probe.
