General technical requirements for human rapid temperature detectors 11 years ago
Infrared human body thermometer is an unconventional device used for specific purposes, mainly to quickly detect people with a body temperature exceeding 38 ℃ (or a specific temperature) in a large number of abortions. It is a typical "screening" device. This instrument has been widely used in various public places and has played a significant role in screening SARS patients and controlling the spread of the disease.
At present, the sensors used in infrared screening equipment on the market have a wider measurement range, and the wider the measurement range, the greater the error in a specific temperature range. In addition, there are currently issues with such instruments, such as high measurement uncertainty within the full range, and different instruments in the same batch and model under the same conditions measuring the same temperature with different deviations. Without standards, products are unstable in quality. Therefore, the National Standards Committee has organized relevant departments to urgently launch the formulation of the national standard "General Technical Conditions for Infrared Human Surface Temperature Rapid Screening Instrument" from May 9th.
General technical requirements for human rapid temperature measuring instruments
Experts have pointed out that due to the significant differences in working environment conditions of non-contact infrared human surface temperature rapid screening instruments, the thermal radiation rates of the working objects vary greatly, making it difficult to limit specific temperature values, correction values, and measurement distances in the standards. When using this standard, enterprises not only need to strictly comply with the provisions of the standard, but also need to do a lot of experimental work on the above aspects to determine the measurement distance, specific temperature values, and correction values of the instrument, and clearly indicate them in the product user manual or other documents according to the standard requirements.
The main purpose of the human body thermometer is to detect human body temperature in public places such as entry and exit ports, airports, stations, docks, hospitals, government agencies, factories, schools, hotels, and office buildings, facilitating the screening of patients with fever symptoms to reduce transmission and epidemic spread.
