How are non-contact infrared thermometers different from contact thermometers?

The non-contact infrared thermometer is composed of optical system, photoelectric detector, signal amplifier, signal processing, display output and other parts. The optical system gathers the infrared radiation energy of the target in its field of view, the infrared energy is focused on the photodetector and converted into a corresponding electrical signal, and then through the signal amplification DA conversion MCU software compilation and other programs, and finally calculate the temperature of the measured target value.

Compared with non-contact infrared temperature measurement and contact temperature measurement, it has the following characteristics:

Non-contact infrared temperature measurement:

1. Non-contact temperature measurement has no effect on objects

2. Detect the surface temperature of the object

3. Fast response, can measure objects in motion and transient temperature

4. Wide measurement range

5. High measurement accuracy and small resolution

6. Can measure temperature on small area

7. Can measure temperature on point, line and surface at the same time

8. It can measure temperature and relative temperature

Contact temperature measurement:

1. Contact temperature measurement has an influence on the temperature field of the measured object

2. Not suitable for measuring transient temperature

3. Not easy to detect moving objects

4. The measurement range is not wide enough, and consumables

5. Not suitable for measuring poisonous, high pressure and other dangerous occasions
