1. Before use, observe whether the pointer of the meter points to the zero point. If there is any deviation, gently adjust the mechanical zero adjustment screw on the meter to make the pointer return to the zero point.
2. The "calibration switch" is placed in the "off" position, and the "power selection" switch is placed at the selected power source. If using an external power supply, pull the "Power Select" switch to the "External" position, and connect two sets of DC power supplies (1 set of 1.5V, 1 set of 4.5V) to the "External Power Supply" terminal respectively, and do not connect the wrong polarity" If you use the battery box inside the instrument, do not connect the wrong polarity. Insert the plug of the measuring rod into the socket, place the measuring rod vertically upward, and press the screw plug to seal the probe.
3. "Correction shape" is placed in the "full scale" position, and slowly adjust the "full scale adjustment" knob to make the meter point at the full scale position.
4. Set the "calibration switch" to the "zero" position, and slowly adjust the "coarse" and "fine" knobs so that the meter points to the zero position.
5. After the above steps, gently pull the screw plug to expose the measuring rod probe (the length can be selected according to the needs), and then the measurement can be carried out. During the measurement, the red dot on the measuring head is aligned with the wind direction, and the wind speed is read from the meter. According to the reading of the meter, check the supplied calibration curve to find out the measured wind speed.
6. After measuring for several minutes (10 minutes), press the measuring rod plug to seal the probe, and repeat steps 3 and 4 above to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.
7. After the measurement is completed, the "calibration switch" is placed in the "off" position.
