The exact concept of pH electrode calibration is called calibration. It is to use the known and accurate pH value of the buffer to correspond to the corresponding potential value to form a working curve. Different electrodes have different working curves. Therefore, when changing electrodes, calibration must be required. In addition, the performance of the electrode changes over time, with the influence of the measurement sample. Therefore, regular calibration is also necessary. As for the frequency of calibration, it is recommended to calibrate once a day, at least once a week. The slope of the calibration is between 95% and 105%, and the zero-point potential offset is ±15mv.
