How to calibrate the zero point and indicated value of a flammable gas detector?
Combustible gas detectors can quickly, accurately, and stably monitor the use of combustible gases or the generation of combustible gases in industrial production. When the monitoring concentration reaches the pre-set alarm value of the combustible gas detector, the sound and light alarm is linked to prompt the on-site staff to take necessary protective measures, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of combustion and explosion accidents caused by combustible gases. How to calibrate the zero point and indication of the combustible gas detector?
1. Zero calibration of combustible gas detectors
After the alarm is powered on and stabilized, if the displayed value is not zero, zero calibration should be performed.
Calibration method: Introduce zero point gas, which can be clean air or nitrogen with a purity of not less than 99.99%, into the flow controller, adjust the flow rate of the flow meter to around 500mL/min, and the suction alarm bypass flow meter will release gas; The diffusion combustible gas detector should have a calibration cover. After the reading stabilizes, adjust the reading to zero according to the steps described in the manual.
2. Calibrate the indication value of the combustible gas detector
The alarm after zero point adjustment inputs a certain concentration of gas standard substance. After the display value stabilizes, if the difference between the alarm indication value and the concentration value of the gas standard substance exceeds the allowable range, the alarm indication value should be calibrated.
Calibration method: After zero adjustment, the combustible gas detector is filled with gas standard substances of the specified concentration in the alarm manual, and the flow rate of the flowmeter is adjusted to around 500mL/min through a flow controller. Gas release in the bypass flowmeter of the inhalation combustible gas detector. After the alarm indication stabilizes, adjust the indication to the concentration value of the gas standard substance according to the steps described in the alarm indication.
