How to choose the type of digital level
A level is an instrument for establishing a horizontal line of sight to measure the height difference between two points on the ground. The principle is to measure the height difference between ground points according to the leveling principle. The main components are a telescope, a tube level (or compensator), a vertical axis, a base, and a foot screw. According to the structure, it is divided into micro-tilt level, automatic leveling level, laser level and digital level (also known as electronic level). According to the accuracy, it can be divided into precision level and ordinary level. So, how to choose a level?
1. For the new factory level, the working surface should be flat and smooth, and there should be no defects such as blisters, pores, bruises, scratches, and corrosion. Stripped paint, rust and obvious defects are not allowed on non-working surfaces.
2. Eyepieces, magnifying glasses, etc. should be clean and transparent without scratches. The scale of the level gauge should be clear and uniform, and there should be no decolorization.
3. How about the price of the level? The price of the level on the market is basically above 1,000. Generally, the higher the precision, the more expensive it is. The detailed price varies depending on the model, brand, and accuracy.
4. The level is focused and durable. When purchasing, try to adjust the focus to see if it is convenient to operate.
5. Whether the tripod stand is firm and easy to adjust.
