How to clean a biological microscope
If there are stains on the wiping device of the mechanical device, a clean soft cloth can be used to wipe it off; If it cannot be wiped off, you can use mirror paper or a fine silk cloth dipped in a small amount of xylene to wipe it off. Attention should be paid not to use chemicals such as alcohol to avoid corroding the paint on the surface of the device.
2. The wiping of optical lenses generally adopts the method of blowing first, then brushing, and then wiping again. Blowing refers to using a balloon (or an ear wash ball) to blow off the attachments on the surface of the lens, but not directly blowing air through the mouth. When it cannot be blown off, a clean specialized cleaning brush can be used to gently brush it. When there are still dirt on the surface of the lens after the above two methods of treatment, gently wipe it with a lens wiping paper dipped in a little xylene. If the lens is found to be moldy and foggy, it can be wiped with a mixture of wiping paper dipped in a small amount of anhydrous alcohol, but the liquid should not be too much and the residence time should be short to avoid penetrating into the interior of the lens and causing corrosion. After each use, the oil lens should be wiped in a timely manner. First, use dry wiping paper to wipe once or twice, remove most of the medium oil, then wipe twice with xylene dripping wet wiping paper, and finally wipe once with dry wiping paper.
Biological microscope Other
The surface of the optical lens of the biological microscope should not be touched by hand to avoid contamination. After using the device with tension, it should be allowed to return to its natural relaxed state. Never let any adjustable part be in an extreme position. Do not frequently switch the power switch in a short period of time. During the intermittent use of the microscope, the illumination brightness should be lowered. Never leave the specimen on the stage for a long time, especially when there are volatile substances.
