1. Determine the live line and the neutral line
One end of the screwdriver of the electric pen is in contact with one end of the wire, and the thumb is pressed against the top. You can use a non-contact test pen to determine whether it is a live wire or a live wire. The operation method:
(1) When the electric pen is close to the object with voltage, the electric pen will make a buzzing sound, then it is a live wire. The electric pen can measure the AC voltage of 90V~1000V.
(2) When it is close to the zero line without voltage, the electric pen will not make any sound at this time, which proves that the zero line is here.
2. Electric pen to measure the live wire and zero wire
Hold the electric pen with the big finger and the middle finger, hold the pen cap or pen hang with the index finger, and do not touch the metal tip of the head to prevent electric shock.
The tip of the electric pen touches the wire respectively. When the induction light inside the electric pen is illuminated, the wire is the live wire, otherwise it is the zero wire or the ground wire.
The live wire is not necessarily the live wire. In the event of a fault, the neutral wire or the ground wire may be live, but the live wire is not live.
