How to deal with the high temperature of switching power supply transformer
The treatment method of turning off the power transformer temperature is too high:

1. They are: copper loss, winding process problems, transformer iron loss and transformer planning power is too small.
2. No-load heating is caused by bad insulation of the transformer or high input voltage of the transformer. If the insulation is bad, the coil needs to be rewound. If the input voltage is high, the input voltage needs to be reduced or the number of coil turns should be increased.

In the design process of the switching power supply transformer, the heat generation of the MOS tube is the most severe, and its own high temperature rise problem is caused by loss.
1. The loss of the MOS tube is composed of two parts: the loss during the switching process and the on-state loss.
2. To reduce the on-state loss, the on-state loss can be reduced by selecting a switch tube with low on-state resistance. The switching process loss is caused by the size of the gate charge and the switching time. To reduce the loss in the switching process, you can choose a higher switching speed. 3. But it is more important to reduce the loss by designing a better control method and buffer, such as using soft switching, etc., which can greatly reduce this loss.
There is another possibility that the temperature rise of the power transformer itself will be too high, that is, the aging phenomenon of the transformer itself. When the engineer checks the transformer itself and the MOS tube and finds nothing abnormal, it needs to be inferred based on the working time and working life of the transformer.
