How to detect led light strip with a multimeter
step:
1. First, turn the range switch of the pointer multimeter to the Rx10 kiloohm range;
2. Insert the black test pen plug into the negative socket hole, and the red test pen plug into the positive socket hole;
3. Use a black test lead to connect the positive pole of a single LED lamp bead, and a red test lead to connect to the negative pole of a single LED lamp bead;
4. If the lamp bead is lit, it is normal. If it is not lit, it means that the lamp bead is basically broken.
How to calculate the electricity consumption of LED light strips
The power consumption of the LED strip can be calculated by the following formula: LED strip power * usage time = power consumption of the LED strip.
For general LED strips, the power per meter of 0603 is 1.5W, the power per meter of 1210 LED strips is 4.8W, and the power per meter of 5050 LED strips is 7.2W.
Calculated according to the 5050LED light strip with the highest power consumption, with 7.2W per meter and 8 hours per day, then:
The daily power consumption is 7.2W*8h=57.6wh
The monthly power consumption is 57.6wh*30=1728wh (1.728kwh, that is, 1.728 kWh)
The annual power consumption is 1728wh*12=20736wh (20.736kwh, that is, 20.736 kWh)
If there are many LED light strips used, the daily, monthly and annual power consumption of the LED light strips can be obtained by directly multiplying this parameter by the number of meters.
In fact, in the family, the daily usage rate is not 8 hours. Even if it is calculated according to 8 hours, the power consumption rate is almost negligible. Therefore, everyone can use it with confidence.
