How to extend the service life of gas detector

Gas detector is an instrument tool for gas leakage concentration detection. Gas detectors are divided into portable gas detectors, handheld gas detectors, fixed gas detectors, etc. Gas sensors are mainly used to detect the types of gases existing in the environment. Gas sensors are sensors used to detect the composition and content of gases. So in daily use, how do we prolong the service life of the gas detector?

The method of the service life of the gas detector:

1. Check whether there is any air leakage in the gas system. Whether the diaphragm of the weeping pump is damaged, whether the sealing ring of the sampling probe is broken, whether the four-way valve and condensate are damaged, etc.

2. Check the gas flow rate. If the flow rate is too large or too small, the result of the analyzer will be greatly affected.

3. The sampling probe is cleaned, and the pipeline of the sampling hole is dredged.

4. Check whether the condenser is working normally, and usually adjust the temperature within 3 degrees Celsius. 6. Check the measuring chamber to see if it is dirty, and clean it in time.

5. Replace the filter paper: stop the air pump and drain the filter tank.

The service life of the gas detector mainly depends on the sensor. Sensors for detecting concentrations of toxic gases and sensors for detecting explosive concentrations of flammable gases. Most of the sensors used to measure the concentration of toxic gases are electrochemical sensors with a service life of 2 to 3 years. Most of the sensors used to detect the concentration of combustible gases are catalytic combustion sensors, and their service life is 3 to 5 years.
