How to maintain and upkeep gas detectors correctly

Gas detectors are commonly used instruments to measure various gas concentrations. Due to their accurate detection performance obtained through sensors, regular maintenance and upkeep of sensors and other components is particularly important.

Maintenance methods for gas detectors
When using the instrument, it is necessary to check the gas flow rate passing through the instrument. Generally, the gas flow rate is 30/h. If the flow rate is too large or too small, it will have a significant impact on the measurement results.

2. After using the instrument for a period of time, it is necessary to replace the filter paper in a timely manner: stop the air pump and drain the filter tank.

3. It is necessary to check whether there is any air leakage in the instrument's air circuit system, whether the diaphragm of the sobbing pump is damaged, whether the sealing ring of the sampling probe is broken, whether the four-way valve, condensate and other components are damaged, etc

4. Clean the sampling probe and unclog the sampling hole pipeline

5. Check if the operation of the condenser is normal. Generally, it is necessary to adjust its temperature within the range of 3 degrees Celsius

6. Check if the measuring device components are dirty and need to be cleaned in a timely manner.

Maintenance methods for gas detectors
1. Whole machine inspection: The detector should be inspected at regular intervals, and the signal current in the clean air is usually DC4mA.

2. Sensor maintenance: The sensor is installed inside the instrument and generally needs to be rechecked and calibrated within six months to one year of use, with a testing report provided by the testing party.

3. If the sensitivity of the sensor in the gas detector is lost during use, it needs to be replaced in a timely manner. Regular calibration methods can be used to determine whether the sensor is ineffective. If the calibration value does not meet the standard value, the sensor needs to be replaced in a timely manner.
