How to measure armored cable with clamp meter

You cannot measure the three phases together in the middle of the current clamp meter. This is because The vector sum of the three-phase currents is zero, and the induced currents between them cancel each other out, so no current can be measured.
Generally, when measuring the current, it is measured phase by phase at the outlet position at the lower end of the switch or contactor.
The specific method is as follows:
1. Clean the surface of the jaw magnet of the clamp meter, and squeeze the handle of the clamp meter a few times to prepare for measuring the current;
2. When you don’t know how much current is in the circuit under test, turn the clamp meter current switch to the maximum position for measurement, and then make appropriate adjustments according to the current value until the accurate current value is read until;
3. For the intelligent current clamp meter, just set the dial directly to the position of AC current ~A.
